Destin, FL company!
We were so excited to get a call that WSP friends Dave and Tillie Smith from Prosser were headed our direction. They booked into the same state park for a couple nights. We enjoyed a wonderful crab/shrimp/salmon dinner out at a local restaurant as well as Dave's famous barbeque ribs the next night!
The beauty and warmth of the Destin beach...especially on sunny January days...was enjoyed by all of us Northwesterners!Now watching the highway cams of Eastern OR on the internet...we see lots of white ground! We too are enjoying lots of white on the ground on this gorgeous "silver" beach...the temp and chemical make-up is obviously a bit different though. As you can imagine, Ken was thrilled this morning when I shoveled up a couple bags of this Florida "white stuff" to bring home to all of you :)!
