Winter 2019 to 2020

We celebrated Christmas 2019 in Arizona City with a morning brunch at our house!  Spending time with good friends makes for a very special holiday.  The following morning Joanne at the...crack of dawn...flew to San Diego where Mary, Dalin, and Baby Bodhi greeted her.  

Checking out Santa's presents for Bodhi's first Christmas was lots of fun for Grandma!!!

She was obviously delighted with all the decor...yum yum...great to chew on too :-)!

Hayden and Dalin had just been to their Daddy's car dealership where they had a fun photo with Santa.

Harlow's joy came from a new feathered friend. What a beautiful bird to have for a room-mate!

While I was visiting in Vista, Shawn and Mary had a fun night out with friends!

Returning to AZ this time of year gives an opportunity for some of the most gorgeous sunsets.  I don't know if we've ever seen such a brilliant RED sky!  This year will forever be remembered too in that Ken had a less than desirable holiday.  Medical issues definitely put a damper on the season.  We are thankful he has now recovered.  He will likely be planning less strenuous activities ahead.

In February we have just had a very fun visit from Jon Parsons for a few days.  Here Jon educates his father in the art of Facebook and likely other phone tricks that Dad can utilize daily.

 

A delicious brunch with Ken's sister Terry, brother-in-law Dard, and son Jon gave a farewell sparkle to Jon's last day of his visit before flying home to Washington.
