The first 5 photos were taken during our visit to the P&MD...Prospectors & Metal Detectors club in Jan. 2022. This was located in Quartzsite AZ near a gold claim that was just donated to the P&MD by a former member. The 2nd photo represents the fun times we shared with friends...here we enjoy Rich's breakfast! The photos of a gold nugget represent the largest one Joanne had ever found! (She only found 1 the entire time we were there but this was .34 dwt and cleaned up really nice! Note these photos magnify the real look.) The next photo is Ken's excursion on the rocky roads that led to a busted front tire. Thank goodness for good friends that changed the tire out. Of course repair trucks likely won't come to such a location as this.<The Argentine Giant was spectacular in 2022. Some blossoms were up to 13" across. They last ONLY for one night! Our AZ City SE Monaco Blockwatch was held in our neighborhood and hosted speakers from the Pinal Co. Sheriff Dept., the Arizona City Fire Dept., and our Pinal Co. Superviser. It was a very meaningful and enjoyable gathering!Joanne had a wonderful visit at Mary's home in April. Michelle was present from Healdsburg too so we had a lovely "family celebration". Going to the kids ball games, enjoying a fun "lunch out" and spending time with grandchildren was definitely FUN! A trip to Tucson provided the opportunity to connect with Jim and Kathee Hunter, good friends for almost 50 years! We so appreciated the time to get updated and keep each other in our thoughts and prayers.
