RV Parking with Habitat for Humanity
We've parked at the Central Baptist Church with RV'ers working with Habitat for Humanity. At 7:50 a.m. all the workers with Habitat...probably over 100...show up for a morning gathering prior to going to worksites. There are many young people from universities that come for a week to work too. A production company is making a documentary about the group of RV'ers called the Care-a-vaners that go about the country with the Habitat.

Our last afternoon we had a visit from Bernadine (woman in the middle), a neighbor of the lady for whom we are rehabilitating the home. It was fascinating to hear about the water rising and then dealing with the devastation in this neighborhood. The lady on the left is a fellow worker; she is from a Presbyterian Church in Illinois.
