Late Summer '07

We are preparing to leave La Grande for our winter adventure. Highlights of the summer have definitely been spending time with family. Here's my favorite current photo of our youngest family member...Shawn & Mary's new baby!
Ken and I have both worked in putting together two additional quarter-mile wheel lines in our wheat field. Joanne assisted with bolting together the spokes in the wheels....many many spokes!!! Certainly Ken did the major part of this gigantic project! He put together as much as possible and did the testing of the system in the shop prior to taking the wheels and solar movers to the field. There our friend Kirk and Ken worked many more hours so that water is now actually flowing as of September!
