SPRING AND SUMMER 2010
Spring 2010 took us to Mill City, NV where we enjoyed our hobby of prospecting and metal detecting with our Escapees Club members. The annual gathering was held the first part of May. We enjoyed good friends and "the great hunt for gold". This year's event featured some terrific speakers, a mine tour, a fossil hunt, and many educational adventures that were planned by a team of club members.

Early summer is graduation time and we are proud of our grads! Jody and Paul's son Cameron Peck graduated from Prosser High School.

Melissa's husband Mike received his masters degree from Lewis and Clark in Portland, OR.

Fishing (and catching :) has been lots of fun this summer. We especially have filled our canning jars with large trout from Thief Valley Reservoir in Eastern Oregon.

July 17th was a day of celebration as Michelle and Tom Babb were married in Chahalis, WA.

Isn't she a pretty bride :)?

Among our summer guests were Mary and grand daughter Harlow Mae. Here we are attending a wedding of one of Mary's best friends from high school days.

Jon's family shares a waffle breakfast in our "Parsons Park" this summer. The "boys" had a great time fishing at Phillips Reservoir and panning for gold in Sumpter.

A wedding shower celebration was held in Portland for Karen, daughter of good friends Lynne and George. When the OSU "sisters" get together there is always a fun day!!! So sorry we'll miss the September wedding but at least I heard the details that are planned for the "big day".

We've also had many joys...class reunion, friends & family visiting the Parson's Garden Inn. We'll be off to Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, and sights unknown very soon!
