Christmas Holiday Trip to Mesa

On Dec. 20th we ventured north to Mesa for a holiday get-away. First stop after parking our motor home was a visit to Senator McCain's Arizona office where we met with the Senator's immigration constituent advocate.  We delivered a personal letter and were encouraged that our friends will at least be able to have help in determining the status of their situation.  The USA MUST reform their policies!

Three guesses where we've spent some of our hours when residing in one of our favorite RV parks...Valle del Oro? You may recognize those toes sticking up and cooling off in the hot tub.  

There is no comparison between December in Arizona versus  this month in the NW.   Of course we do not experience the 4 seasons here.  Yes...snow is beautiful to look at but at our age the warmth is super. 

Dining out has also been a treat!  This is evidence to our friends that we did ALREADY enjoy their thoughtful Christmas gift.  We also had a pleasurable evening with friends Bob and Judy at a wonderful Chinese restaurant the night before.  Today's luncheon was at one of our  "gourmet" hang-outs...Costco .  Three guesses of the menu!  :-) We will complete our excursion with a visit to Mesa Market tomorrow before trekking back south to Arizona City.
