Fall 2014 Adventures

Early November we had a trek to Southern CA to help Mary and family following their move from Washington State to Carlsbad.  The grand daughters and parents are looking forward to being close to the ocean and enjoying the CA sunshine. We had traveled to the San Diego area several years ago but this was our first visit to the beach area in southern CA.  We were impressed!

One of the joys of this time of year in AZ is actually getting up in time to see the sunrise .  The sky to the east is "on fire" some mornings!

We've enjoyed several visitors this fall.  Friends Les and Susan spent a couple weeks in their RV here...we always enjoy good times when they are around!  At  Thanksgiving, Mary's family ventured over our way from CA for a few days.  The grand daughters growing up WA state likely had never spent a Thanksgiving Day splashing in a swimming pool and basking in the sunshine!  We all enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner with family at the Price (Ken's sister and brother-in-law) home here in the Eloy area.  

Our early December activities have included the neighborhood clean-up group's  weekly outing to spruce up the vacant lots.  We also participated in the SE Monaco  Block Watch Meeting and Social.  Just look who also showed up to greet the neighbors!
