Charleston, SC proved to be a city filled with history and architectural magnificance! We enjoyed a guided tour that gave us the perspective of the locals. Block after block was filled with the southern homes, churches, and historical buildings dating back to both the Revolutionary War Period as well as "The War"...referring to the Civil War.We were intrigued with all the waterways around the city. The multiple rivers run from the Charleston Harbor that is also the subject of many tales...war, hurricanes, and even now the mooring for the US Yorktown air craft carrier.
