Fall Adventure 2010
September 6th, 2010 the Parsons and their friends the McClintons of Olympia, WA set off in our RV's from La Grande, OR on an adventure that we'd planned for many months!

Our first stops were in Idaho. Here we bask in the beauty of the Ketchum/Sun Valley area. The city park along the Snake River in Idaho Falls was the location of that night's stop...a great place to boondock if you are in the area!

We then meandered on to Jackson, WY where we visited the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Hmmm...what handsome BEARS :)!

The paintings, bronzework, and other creations of many famous artists was awe-inspiring!

We spent three days in the area of the Grand Tetons. Fortunately the clouds moved on and we were able to enjoy the grandeur of these spectacular mountains.

The Snake River adds it's beauty to this amazing location.

We joined several hundred other tourists at 4:47 pm on Sunday to view that phenomenal explosive eruption of Old Faithful in Yellowstone Park.

Our trip led us out of Yellowstone and down the steep mountains to the city of Cody to the East. Another amazing museum honoring Buffalo Bill is a definite highlight of our trip. The historical displays of Indian life, the natural world, Buffalo Bill and other Old West characters, as well as an art museum and massive gun display could occupy the tourist for days!

We are now moving on to the Black Hills of South Dakota as of Sept. 15.
