Back to Oregon...April to June 2011

The beauty of the Grande Ronde Valley and Mt. Emily out our front window always welcomes us home as it did again in late April!

Of course our first excursion included some trips to one of our favorite fishing reservoirs, Thief Valley, where the beautiful rainbow trout are so much fun to catch.


On May 10, Joanne headed for Portland to celebrate. Baby showers for both Melissa and Mary gave the opportunity to greet good friends and gather with family. We all are anticipating the family expansion in June!

May has definitely been "drippy" in Eastern Oregon!



The Grande Ronde River is way outside of it's banks and flooding extensive farmland on the east side of our valley.


Memorial weekend we enjoyed Michelle's family visit including taking Adam for a quick trip fishing. Guess who was the only one to come home with a trophy?

June has taken us to Washington to enjoy the Parsons families. Hunter and Mattie have grown so much since we last visited!

Celebrating Logan's high school graduation is of course a joy!

The grad party included a delicious barbecue with Chef Jon flippin' the burgers.

Also this weekend we welcomed family Dard & Terry and friends Glen and Tommy to our country home!
