WOW!!! What a Wonderful Week
We began Aug. 2011 with the anticapted visits from our children & grandchildren. Daughter Mary and children arrived first to our E. Oregon farm.

We enjoyed some great adventures including a visit to Morgan Lake where Harlow caught her first fish on her Barbie fishing pole!

Jon's family arrived on Wednesday. The grandchildren helped prepare the dinner fruit salad with a visit to our berry patch.

Thursday, the boys all took off for Thief Valley Reservoir for the "annual" fishing excursion.

Then...Friday Michelle and Melissa with their families, niece Teresa, and nephew John arrive in Eastern Oregon for the anticipated meeting of the cousins.

The focus of the gathering was introducing the newest blessings to our family...now aren't they precious?

OKAY...what Joanne and Ken DID NOT KNOW was that a surprise 20th anniversary party was being planned also! Not only many of our family members came but also friends from grade school, Oregon State University, WA State Patrol, former neighbors and babysitters...from New Mexico, Portland area, Washington, and many locals. Ken and Joanne were over-whelmed and speechless! We thank each and everyone of you for the gift of your presence and also the many greetings from those who could not come.

We all enjoyed an afternoon with a delicious barbecue, sharing memories, and watching the kids play. Here are just a few photos from one of the greatest days of our life!!!
